I Took a Bite and Walked Away...
A weight loss client reported she started to eat a doughnut (guilt free) at work this week. She took a bite and decided she wasn't that interested. Usually she would have finished the whole thing without even thinking, and even would have had a couple more. She's been listening to her audio CD every night that is helping to change the way she views food. She lost 1 pound this week and when asked if she was disappointed in only the 1 pound she said, "No, the weight loss is just a bonus. The fact that I quit gaining weight is the most amazing thing." She explained that not having to worry about what she's eating and being guilt free is what's really important to her now, and still to have lost the pound was amazing.
